First published in News

COPS investigating a charity box theft in Hagley have released CCTV images of a man they want to interview.

The Save The Children box was stolen from Lloyds TSB, Worcester Road, between 1pm and 2pm on Wednesday December 12.

The man is also wanted in connection with a similar theft in Malvern when a Royal British Legion Poppy appeal box was taken.

Pc Ann O'Herlihy, from Hagley police, said: "These are particularly unpleasant crimes for obvious reasons and therefore we would like to identify this man so that he can help us with our investigation."

The man is thought to be aged about 60 and wearing a wax jacket and a distinctive rimmed hat.

Anyone with information should contact PC O'Herlihy at West Mercia Police by dialling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
