Action-packed half-term fun at Merry Hill

MERRY Hill has laid on an action-packed half-term week featuring workshops, character meet and greets and art and craft sessions for kids this week.

Popular Disney film Wreck-it-Ralph is currently showing at Odeon cinema throughout the week which kicked off with a Wreck-it-Ralph candy workshop yesterday (Monday) which invited youngsters to make their own sweetie car race like the one in the film created by Vanelope - the movie's leading lady.

And on Wednesday February 20 popular children’s TV characters Bob the Builder and sidekick Wendy will be meeting and greeting fans and posing for photographs.

Then on Thursday February 21 TV presenter Katy Ashworth from Cbeebies’ I Can Cook will be visiting the centre to entertain families with an interactive singing, dancing and storytelling show.

She will also be holding a craft workshop where little ones can design their own recipe journal, and there will be a meet and greet session with Katy at the end.

The centre is also holding a kids' food trail and competition throughout the week.

Kelly Reed, Merry Hill marketing manager, said: “We hope lots of our young customers come down to take advantage of all the entertainment on offer.”
