Canal stalwart set to raise hospice cash at tourist talk

AN expert on Dudley's canals is set to share his knowledge of waterways heritage to raise cash for Mary Stevens Hospice.

Dudley Canal Trust Chairman founder, Vic Smallshire, will be giving the talk on how the Dudley canal tunnel and limestone mines were transformed into a top tourist attraction at Kinver Church Hall, Vicarage Drive on Thursday March 7.

Tickets cost £6 each are available from the Mary Stevens Hospice Shop, High Street, Kinver or by calling Sylvia Sidaway on 01384 877680.
