THE Community Players at Hawbush will be kicking off 50th anniversary celebrations with a comedy production of Darling Mr London.
The show, by Anthony Marriott and Bob Grant, will run at The Oakfield Centre, Brettell Lane, Hawbush, Brierley Hill, from Wednesday March 6 to Saturday March 9.
Seasoned amateur stage stars Claire Lax and Tony Misiolek are among the cast who will be bringing to life the tale of flirtatious but married Edward, from the Contintental Telephone Exchange, whose life is about to be complicated by the arrival of four glamorous women - keen to meet in the flesh the man who so often chats them up on the telephone.
Performances start at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 (concessions £5) and are available on 01384 394349.
