YOUNGSTERS at Ashwood Park Primary School in Wordsley had chance to clamber into the cab of a tractor while learning about farm life this week.
Children in the reception class at the Bells Lane school got to have a close up look at the huge farm vehicle which was visiting from nearby Roberts Farm on the A449.
Ruth Reynolds, the school’s personal, social and health education co-ordinator, said: “The reception children have been learning about all things farm as part of their farming topic.
“The kids were all able to climb into the tractor and pretend to drive it, they were amazed at how big it was - the wheels were bigger and taller than them.
“And the farmer kindly bought some of his produce which the children have used in their role play farm shop.”
