History talk on lost Black Country mansions

STOURBRIDGE Historical Society’s next meeting will feature a talk by Ian Bott on ‘Lost Mansions of the Black Country’.
It will be held in the Amblecote Room at Stourbridge Town Hall on Thursday March 21 at 7.30pm.
Wednesbury-based Mr Bott, a published author, has given talks on topics including Black Country spooks, graveyards and murders across the area.
His illustrated talk at Stourbridge, his first for the society, will concentrate on great houses that were once a feature of the area.
