12:00pm Sunday 10th March 2013 in News
IT’LL be Happy Days at Merry Hill when the Fonz stops off to launch his latest book.
Henry Winkler, much-loved for his role as Fonzie in the 1970s American TV sitcom, will be at WHSmith on Thursday March 14 to launch his new book Hank Zipzer and The Parent Teacher Trouble - the latest from his series of children’s books about a dyslexic young boy.
The book signing, whch is part of a wider UK tour to raise awareness of learning difficulties in children, will take place from 4.30pm at the store near Primark.
Kelly Reed, Merry Hill marketing manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Henry to the centre, and anticipate lots of fans of the iconic Happy Days turning up to see him.
“His wonderful books will also appeal to our younger customers, so he’ll be able to please everyone. Maybe we’ll be able to convince him to do his iconic “Eyyyy” catchphrase.”
