YOUNGSTERS at Peter’s Hill Primary School in Amblecote transformed themselves into their favourite fictional characters to celebrate World Book Day.
Children at the school turned up dressed as the likes of Harry Potter, Where’s Wally?, Goldilocks and Dr Who to mark the event on Thursday March 7.
The school also organised a book swap for pupils who were asked to take along a read they no longer wanted to exchange for another.
And a small group of children and staff took along their favourite stories to read to residents at The Brambles Nursing Home in Vicarage Road - plus a few cakes for the pensioners to enjoy with their afternoon cuppa.
