PEOPLE living in Hagley and Clent are being given a chance have their say on changed to district council boundaries.

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) has opened the new consultation period after making substantial and significant changes to borders for wards in Bromsgrove District Council.

New plans include the Bell Heath area becoming part of Belbroughton and Clent ward, not Romsley as previously proposed, the whole of Hagley village being included in Hagley East and Hagley West wards and the Fairfield area should be part of Romsley ward.

To respond to the consultation write to Review Officer (Bromsgrove), Local Government Boundary Commission for England, Layden House, 76-86 Turnmill Street, London, EC1M 5LG. The deadline for the consultation is Monday April 8.
