KINVER Community Bus has received a £100 boost towards running costs thanks to a big-hearted group of bingo players.
The group, which meets every Monday at the Constitutional Club in Kinver, donated the cash to help the bus service which has proved a lifeline for many villagers for nearly 25 years.
Run entirely by volunteers - the bus service, which will celebrate its silver milestone next month, operates 52 weeks a year, three mornings each week.
Drivers go out whatever the weather to pick up passengers and the bus travels around Kinver - as well as to Stourton, Prestwood, Whittington and out to Enville.
