YOUNGSTERS at St James’s Primary School in Wollaston got busy baking to help cook up cash for Comic Relief.

The Kingsway school staged its own Bake Off - inviting children and their parents to make cakes at home and take them into school to be judged by governors and The Mayor and Mayoress of Dudley - Councillor Melvyn Mottram and his wife Michelle.

The stunt raised around £711 for the charity appeal.
