SOME of the borough’s best photographers are displaying their work at their annual exhibition at Dudley Museum and Art Gallery.

Keen members of Dudley Camera Club have submitted their favourite snaps for display at the 68th consecutive event, capturing a host of themes including nature, transport, people and landmarks.

A total of 178 mounted prints are on show at the St James’s Road museum with a further 128 digital projected images available for viewing on a computer screen, with more than 40 awards handed out by judges to members for their handiwork.

The exhibition runs at the museum until April 27, Monday to Saturday from 10am until 4pm.

Each Saturday for the duration of the event club members will also be on hand to speak to visitors about the club, which began in 1944 as the Dudley Photographic Society.

The group now meet on Monday night at Central Methodist Church in Cross Street, Dudley from 7.30pm.

New members and visitors are welcome to attend the evenings, which includes visiting speakers, studio events and tutorial sessions.
