FITNESS fanatics can get an outdoor work out at a new gym programme in Dudley borough green spaces.
A specialist from Evolve Outdoor Fitness will be running classes at council parks with military precision.
Personal trainer and former Royal Marine Chris Gardner, who is also a fully qualified sports therapist and fitness instructor, will be leading classes at the Leasowes in Halesowen and Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge.
Chris Gardner said: “Outdoor exercise results in higher levels of post exercise endorphins compared to gym workouts and utilises varied terrain to provide more exciting challenges.”
“We can help people to achieve staggering results in a way not seen in ordinary fitness classes as we tailor sessions to meet each individual’s goals.
"We are very excited to be working in partnership with Dudley Council’s parks physical activity team to expand their offer in the local parks and open spaces and I am sure the sessions will be very popular with local people.”
