BUS company bosses have introduced a new Sunday service from Stourbridge to Kidderminster, Bewdley and Bridgnorth which is running throughout the summer following requests from members of the public.
Whittle Coach & Bus Ltd’s 125 Stourbridge to Bridgnorth bus service is being run on Sundays on a trial basis until September 8.
The service leaves Stourbridge Bus Station at 9.45am and there are two return services from Bridgnorth - the last one leaving at 3.15pm. There are also additional links to Kidderminster during the day.
David Shipp, general manager at Whittle Coach & Bus Ltd, said: “Despite a lack of financial support, we have taken the risk to try this new service.
“It gives residents of Stourbridge the opportunity to spend some quality time in the countryside over the summer.”
The Sunday service, which may become permanent if it proves a hit, also provides links to the Severn Valley Railway and West Midland Safari Park, and offers a £3 off voucher for entry to the safari park to visitors travelling on the 125.
