9:34am Friday 20th September 2013 in News
A BRAVE Wordsley shop assistant will shave her head for children’s charity, the NSPCC tomorrow (Saturday Septmeber 21).
Leanne Bodin, aged 21, will ditch her locks at 11.30am in front of customers at Spar in the Wordsley Green Shopping Centre, where she has worked for the last three years.
Assistant manager Rachel Ede said: “Spar’s chosen charity is the NSPCC and we are always thinking of different ways to raise funds. Leanne came into work one day and said she was going to shave her head. I think it’s very brave, especially for a young 21-year-old girl.”
Miss Bodin, who has already raised almost £400, added: “Please donate to this great cause and thank you to everyone who has supported me so far.”
