KINGSWINFORD schoolchildren will take part in a memory walk to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Pupils from Dingle Community Primary School will remember family, friends and colleagues who have died from the disease as they stroll around Baggeridge Country Park on Sunday October 6.
They will begin their walk at 10am and spend an hour enjoying the countryside, carrying collection buckets to raise money for the cancer charity.
Headteacher, Joy Wheeler, said: “It will be an opportunity for everyone to celebrate the lives of family and friends who are no longer with us. They will be in the hearts and minds of us all as we take a walk around a beautiful part of our local area.”
