Inquest opens into the death of microlight crash victim

AN inquest has been opened into the death of the microlight pilot killed in a crash in Stourton.
Andrew Tollerton, aged 52, of Gerald Road, Wollaston, died from chest and head injuries after crashing into power cables at Barratt’s Coppice Farm, Bridgnorth Road, at around 6pm on Sunday October 6 .
South Staffordshire Coroner, Andrew Haigh, opened the inquest on Wednesday (October 9) and adjourned the hearing until March 12 next year.
