The following appeared in Dudley Magistrates Court between October 21-25:

Rory John Priest, aged 20, of Claycroft Place, Lye, was fined £180 for driving a BMW in Stourbridge without a licence or insurance on October 3. He was given six penalty points and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Farooq Mohammed, aged 33, of Cromwell Drive, Dudley, was sent to prison for 40 weeks for stealing cosmetics, worth £2.76p and toiletries, worth £25.74, from the 99p Store, Dudley and toiletries, worth £38.35, from Boots, Dudley on October 19.

Ian Hollinshead, aged 42, of Comber Drive, Pensnett, was banned from driving for 30 months for drink driving in Stourbridge on June 9. When tested he had 322mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mlgs. He was given a 12 month community order and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Craig Raymond Montroy, aged 25, of North Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for attempting to steal industrial cable, of unknown value, in Dudley on July 28. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £50 court costs.

Stefan Dwayne Maxwell Rattray, aged 23, of Attingham Drive, Dudley, was disqualified from driving for six months and fined £220 for driving a Citroen in Dudley on October 7 without a licence or insurance and failing to stop when required to do so by an officer in uniform. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Paul Gary Reeves, aged 33, of Mercroft Road, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for entering a building in Pedmore as a trespasser with intent to steal on August 16.

Nicholas John Tombs, aged 27, of Bank Street, Brierley Hill, was given a two year community order for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on May 13. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £60 and £150 court costs.

Amir Kabul, aged 59, of Sandon Road, Lye, was fined £500 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for driving without due care and attention in Stourbridge on February 6. He was ordered to pay compensation of £1,500 and a victim surcharge of £50.

Andrew Gerard Hawkins, aged 40, of Darby End Road, Netherton, was fined £185 for possessing cannabis and cocaine in Netherton on October 3. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Lee Marvin Backhouse, aged 39 , of Stamford Road, Amblecote, was fined £165 for stealing two Scholl express pedi packs, worth £79.98, from Boots, Stourbridge on October 15 and stealing toys, worth £53.95, from Toys R Us, Merry Hill on October 22. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Dean Groom, aged 20, of Cross Lane, Sedgley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months for entering a building in Dudley as a trespasser and stealing a bag of pigeon food, worth £10.99, on June 13. He was ordered to pay compensation of £4.50, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Royston John Yates, aged 40, of Maughan Street, Quarry Bank, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting two police officers in the execution of their duty on April 15. He was ordered to pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £60 and £110 court costs.

Daniel Justin Davies, aged 30, of Minehead Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for driving without insurance, while disqualified, in Kingswinford on September 13. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work and pay £200 court costs.

James Snatchfold, aged 21, of Hill Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 22 weeks for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on March 27 and failing to attend court on two occasions. He was ordered to pay compensation of £75.

Damien Darren Mullis, aged 35, of Surrey Road, Dudley, was given an 18 month community order for damaging a window, worth £200, in Netherton on September 25. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Ajay Kaul, aged 23, of Old Park Road, Dudley, was fined £360 and disqualified from driving for three years for drink driving in Dudley on October 9 without a licence or insurance. When tested, he had 40mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and £85 court costs.

Terry Geoffrey Shaw, aged 27, of Ash Road, Wrens Nest, was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for drink driving in Dudley on October 4. When tested, he had 44mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.
