CHRISTMAS walks and craft sessions are taking place across the borough this festive season.

Free outdoor sessions organised by Dudley Council will run throughout December to enable people to make the most of Dudley’s parks and outdoor spaces.

Christmas wreath-making will be held at The Leasowes, Halesowen, on Wednesday December 18 from 10am to noon. Booking is essential. Call 01384 814642.

People can also make wreaths at Priory Park, Dudley, on Monday December 23 from 11am to 12.30pm. Booking is not required.

A circular Christmas time walk will take place around Quarry Bank Park on Friday December 20 from 10am to 11am.

Another easy to moderate walk is planned for 11am in Sedgley on Monday December 30 - which will take in Sedgley Beacon and the famous Britannia Inn.

Also on Monday December 30 visitors to Priory Park pavilion can make their own animal puppets from 11am. There is no need to book.

And to kick-start the New Year wardens at Saltwells Nature Reserve, Netherton, will lead a walk around the beauty spot on Wednesday January 1 from 10am to noon. Booking is essential. Call Ste Rowland on 07717 70090.
