CHOIRS will sing carols and Father Christmas will make an appearance as things get festive at Sainsbury’s Amblecote on Sunday (December 15).
Local groups including Stourbridge Choir and Orchestra Society will perform classics including Jingle Bella, Little Donkey and Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer to raise money for charity.
Shoppers can choose to make a donation during the performances and the groups will have the option to raise funds for the store’s local charity partner, Mary Stevens Hospice or a local charity of their choice.
Father Christmas will also be on hand throughout the day, making a special visit from the North Pole and festive face-painting will take place.
Store manager, Kevin Healy said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Father Christmas into our store. I know he’s been really busy preparing for his round-the-world trip so it’s a great opportunity for our family shoppers to meet him.
"Along with our carol-singers and face-painting activities, we hope to help get our customers excited for Christmas."
