A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and minor burns after a house fire in Wollescote.
Firefighters were called to a semi-detached house in Brook Crescent at 12.17am this morning (Thursday) to tackle the blaze that had broke out in a first floor bedroom.
She was taken to Russells Hall Hospital by paramedics, as was a male who was also treated for the effects of smoke.
They were both treated for smoke inhalation.
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said investigations are taking place to establish the cause of the fire.
