A PENSIONER has died after his car collided with a wall in Kingswinford today (Monday).
It is believed the 78-year-old man had fallen ill at the wheel moments before the crash at around 11am on Glynne Avenue.
He was taken to Russells Hall Hospital, accompanied by his female passenger, but despite the best efforts of medical staff he died a short time later.
Police closed the road while emergency services dealt with the incident but it was re-opened just after midday.
