A KINVER couple will hike the Himalayas to support a Stourton charity that acts as a lifeline for young mums.

After reading an article in the News about Living Springs and the work it does to support young pregnant mums, children and families, Pete and Jackie Cash decided they wanted to get involved and show their support.

They are now preparing to lace up their hiking boots and get involved in the trek the charity has organised to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

The couple, who will embark on the 10 day challenge in March, hope to raise £2,000.

Jackie said: “We know that the money is genuinely going to help local people, none of it will disappear in admin fees."

The pair are currently making regular trips to the Clent Hills to prepare for the what Jackie said will be the "experience of a lifetime".
