TWO local dignitaries have been presented with MBEs by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
Dorothy Clarke, aged 85, from Pedmore was recognised for her services to elderly people in the Black Country.
She has been running her pensioners' group at St Peter’s Centre in Pedmore Lane for almost 30 years.
Former Norton councillor David Rogers was also awarded the MBE for services to the community of Stourbridge.
The 80-year-old has made his mark on a variety of organisations throughout his life, including Dudley Citizens Advice and Stourbridge Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.
They received their awards on December 6.
