Before the courts

Trevor Donald Osbourne, aged 56, of Oak Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for damaging a flatscreen TV at William Hill Bookmakers, Dudley, on December 12. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Christopher Dixon, aged 48, of High Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for stealing soap from Debenhams, Merry Hill, on January 7, while subject to a suspended sentence.

James Snatchfold, aged 21, of Hill Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on December 24. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Peter Thomas Walker, aged 20, of Tregaron Road, Colleygate, was fined £100 for being drunk and disorderly in Cradley on December 25. He was also sentenced for damaging a police cell in Brierley Hill between December 25 and 26. He was ordered to pay compensation of £70, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Tyrone Colin Payne, aged 26, of Queen Street, Pensnett, was given a 12 month community order for interfering with a motor vehicle and stealing a charity collection tin belonging to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, in Wolverhampton on August 12. He was also sentenced for damaging a window belonging to Dudley Council, in Brierley Hill on November 12. He was given a 13 week curfew and must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am for the duration. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £235, a victim surcharge of £60 and £250 court costs.

Janet Rollinson, aged 50, of Pleasant View, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for stealing a laptop, worth £349, from Tesco Extra, Stourbridge, on January 9.

Dean John Hanzel, aged 23, of Hallchurch Road, Holly Hall, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 18 months for assaulting two women in Brierley Hill, on January 13. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Gurnam Singh Nazran, aged 49, of Ivanhoe Street, Dudley, was given a two week community order for possessing a West Midlands Travel bus pass on which the date had been altered, in Dudley on December 16. He was given a two week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Shane Locke, aged 45, of Westfield Road, Sedgley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for common assault in Sedgley on December 24. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

David Roy Russell, aged 49, of Lower High Street, Cradley Heath, was given a 12 month community order for stealing Malibu, worth £14, from Asda, Halesowen, on November 25. He was also sentenced for stealing a joint of meat, worth £8.32, from Tesco, Warley, on December 14. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Andrew David Jewkes, aged 51, of Moorvale Street, Lye, was given an 18 month community order for assaulting a woman in Warley between June 21 and 28 last year. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £60 and £200 court costs.

Mohamed Nayif, aged 57, of Tree Acre Grove, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for 18 months for assaulting a woman in Halesowen on May 27 last year. He was given a 20 week curfew and for the duration must stay at his home address between 8pm and 6am. He was ordered to pay compensation of £400, a victim surcharge of £80 and £300 court costs.

Lewis Sean Trevis, aged 27, of Grove Road, Wollescote, was fined £340 for damaging a door of a property in Stourbridge and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, harm or distress, in Dudley, on December 20. He was ordered to pay compensation of £120, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Sanjeet Grewal, aged 30, of Stone Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on August 23 last year. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Mark Leon Spence, aged 28, of London Heights, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting two women in Dudley on June 23 last year. He was ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £200 court costs.

Melodie Jayne Denigan, aged 18, of Blackberry Lane, Rowley Regis, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them, in Brierley Hill on June 5, last year. She was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £250 court costs.

She was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £250 court costs.

Hannah Marie Darby, aged 28, of Claremont Street, Cradley Heath, was fined £110 and disqualified from driving for 12 months, for drink driving in Netherton on December 30. When tested, she had 52mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Craig Williams, aged 29, of Graham Road, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for stealing Ryobi equipment and ink cartridges, worth £1,500 in Brierley Hill between January 2, 2012 and July 29, last year. He must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Mathew Edward Bridgwater, aged 24, of Dunsley Road, Wollaston, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a male in Stourbridge on December 30. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

When tested, he had 82mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.
