A STUDENT nurse from Kingswinford has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award, which recognises exceptional professional skills and potential.
Leanne Challoner, aged 23, has been nominated for the 2013/14 Outstanding Student Nurse Award, organised by Cavell Nurses’ Trust.
Miss Challoner, who is in her third and final year at University of Worcester, will be interviewed by a panel of judges, comprising leading nurses and midwives, next month.
If she impresses the panel, she will bag a place in the final and be in the running to win the top title and up to £1,500 to further her professional practice either in this country or internationally, in conjunction with her university.
