POLICE have confirmed they are investigating a shooting incident in Brierley Hill after a man was attacked in his car.
Detectives closed Dudley Road near to Level Street this morning (28 January) and continue to make enquiries into the attack which took place at around 5am on Sunday January 26.
The 34-year-old driver was uninjured and officers believe this was a targeted attack.
Inspector Jim Munro, from West Midlands Police Criminal Investigation Department, said: “We are currently trawling CCTV and searching an area of Dudley Road which is now sealed off.
“We are in the early stages of our investigations and continue to establish the circumstances around the incident.
"There is evidence to suggest that a firearm was discharged.
