A STOURBRIDGE charity is looking to recruit feline-friendly volunteers to help care for local cats in need.
Cats Protection’s Stourbridge and District Branch want to hear from people who can foster cats, work in the shop or help with fundraising on a regular or ad-hoc basis.
The local branch is part of the charity’s nationwide network of 260 volunteer-run branches and 30 adoption centres that together help over 235,000 cats each year.
Deborah Cox, the charity's publicity volunteer, said: “Volunteering for Cats Protection is a fun and rewarding experience, whether you have a skill that would benefit the charity or would like to develop new skills by taking on a fresh challenge. Our volunteers gain a great deal of satisfaction helping cats get a second chance in life.
“We work hard to match people’s skills, interests and time availability to the roles on offer so if you able to contribute, please get in touch.”
Anyone interested in volunteering should email info@stourbridgecats.org.uk or call 0844 8848520.
