HIGH School Musical fever is set to hit a Wollaston school this week.

Young performers at Ridgewood High School in Wollaston will be staging their version of the popular phenomenon tomorrow (Tuesday February 10), Wednesday February 11 and Thursday February 12.

The story follows high school students Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez who meet at a New Year's Eve party when they are chosen to sing Start of Something New for a karaoke competition.

Music and drama teacher David Cartell said: "This show follows hot on the heels of last year's fabulous 'We Will Rock You' production.

"A cast of over 250 students have all been busy putting finishing touches to what has been a really exhausting yet ultimately rewarding and exciting show."

Performances, which start at 7pm each night, are expected to sell out.

For last minute ticket availability call the school's reception on 01384 818445.
