STOURBRIDGE is once again set to feature on TV auction show Flog It! after film-makers stopped off at Fieldings Auctioneers.

Presenter Paul Martin and his team of antiques experts visited the Mill Race Lane auctionhouse to see how items they valued at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery on January 16 fared at auction.

The TV team, filming the 13th season of the popular antiques show, picked out a selection of interesting items - including a Clarice Cliff Holborn fruit bowl in the Original Bizarre pattern - to take to Fieldings' latest fine art, antiques and collectables sale on Saturday February 8.

Auctioneer Nick Davies, who has become a regular on-screen expert for Flog It!, said: “It was a very successful day; we had around 300 people here on Saturday and we got through 920 lots - it was absolutely manic."

Programme-makers couldn't say when the Fieldings sale will feature on TV screens but the show airs at 4.30pm every weekday on BBC1 and a spokesman said the episode would be shown "within a year".
