YOUTH teams at Stourbridge Cricket Club will soon have new equipment and training aids after receiving two £500 grants.
The club, based at High Street, Amblecote, received the cash from The Margaret Westwood Memorial Charity and The Community Social and Recreational Trust.
Mark Ashbourne, the club’s grants and sponsorship officer, said: “Stourbridge Cricket Club is very proud of its youth section and we have seen tremendous results over the last few years with a large number of junior players going on to successfully represent the club at senior level and have played a pivotal role in our league triumphs in the last three seasons.
“We would like to thank both organisations for generously supporting that work into the new season.”
