WORKSHOPS, character shows and art and craft sessions are among the exciting activities in store for kids next week as Merry Hill gears up for February half-term.

The Brierley Hill shopping centre is pulling out all the stops to keep shoppers and their youngsters entertained during the school holiday.

Kids and grown-ups alike can channel their inner pirates and fairies on Monday (February 17) with a Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy workshop.

To celebrate the release of the new Disney film, there will be lots of free themed activities to get stuck into between 10am and 3pm outside TK Maxx.

Super hero and popular children’s character Tree Fu Tom will be taking a break from the enchanted Treetopolis to make a very special appearance at the centre on Tuesday (February 18) for a free show at Central Plaza.

Half-term also coincides with the centre’s We Are Dining extravaganza and there are lots of foodie treats in store for shoppers.

Budding Picassos can put their spuds to work with a potato print t-shirt workshop on Wednesday ( February 19) and all week long families can take advantage of the delicious deals available throughout the centre thanks to Merry Hill’s We Are Dining voucher booklet, which is full of offers to redeem at any of the centre’s 50 eateries.

Kelly Reed, the centre’s senior marketing manager said: “We have some fantastic activities planned for kids over the February half-term - we’re sure there’ll be something to suit everyone.

“We hope lots of our young customers pay us a visit to make the most of our jam-packed schedule.”
