OLD Swinford Hospital is holding a careers convention to give unsure students a nudge in the right direction.
Representatives from top universities, apprenticeship schemes, companies including Coca Cola and professionals from the world of journalism, medicine, law and engineering will be on hand to discuss what qualifications are required to pursue various careers
The event, which is open to anyone, will take place at the Heath Lane school from 4pm to 8.30pm next Thursday (February 27).
Ruth Ferguson, the school's head of business studies, said: “This event is great for inspiring students and giving them an idea of what they are ultimately working towards and tips on how best to succeed in their careers."
