AMBLECOTE scouts are looking for new recruits as numbers have dwindled.
Youngsters who want to learn new skills and take part in a number of exhilarating activities are encouraged to join the Holy Trinity Scouts, who meet at Tomlinson Hall on Monday evenings.
Assistant scout leader, Matthew West, said: "Our numbers have dropped as scouts have moved on as they have become older and we only have around three or four scouts now that turn up."
He continued: "Scouts take part in activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, expeditions overseas, photography, climbing.
"As a scout you can learn survival skills, first aid, computer programming, or even how to fly a plane.
"There’s something for every young person, we accept girls too - it's good to have a mixture.
"It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world."
Anyone aged between 10 and a half and 14 can join.
