TRIBUTES have been paid to a "loveable rogue" from Brierley Hill who died while on holiday in Goa.

Paul Grazier was found dead in the room he was staying in on Wednesday February 12.

The 44-year-old, of Larksfield Mews, had left the UK on January 7 and travelled elsewhere before arriving at the guest house in Anjuna on February 3.

His sister, Julie Cox, of Claverley, said: "He had been there a few times before. He'd taken his fishing stuff with him as he did enjoy that."

She said that each morning, her brother had left his room early but when friends staying next door hadn't seen him that day, they called the police.

Firefighters from nearby Mapusa, were called to break down the door and it was then that Mr Grazier's body was found.

She continued: "The post mortem has been carried out but the cause of death is unknown. India have a different way of doing things and it can take three months to a year to get the results but as far as we know, there are no suspicious circumstances.

"My brother was a loveable rogue and he will be missed by me and his five nieces and nephews."

The father-of-one had worked at Future UK Ltd, a refurbishment company at Cosford Business Park, Shifnal for more than five years as a multi-skilled fitter.

His boss, Kevin Woods, described Mr Grazier as "a much loved and respected member of our team" and added: "Paul was a true friend and work colleague."

Colleagues also paid tribute to Mr Grazier, Clive McDonald said: "Paul was a man I could say no bad about. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help. He was an all round genuine guy."

Alan Wilcox added: "In the short time I knew Paul he proved himself to be one of life`s true characters , and a joy to work alongside."

Terry Garrison said: "I had the pleasure of working with Paul for a number of years and I can honestly say he was a truly happy soul and a joy to be around. He will be dearly missed by many."

Mr Grazier's body is due to be flown back to the UK this week.
