WALL Heath hair stylists are giving up their day off to support a Wolverhampton children’s charity.
Number 10 hairdressers, Albion Parade, is usually closed at the start of the week but they will be picking up their scissors from 10am-5pm on Monday (March 3) in aid of Promise Dreams.
All proceeds from cuts and blow-drys carried out that day will go to the charity, which makes the dreams of seriously and terminally ill children come true.
Salon owner Alison Webb said: “We will also have a raffle on the day, we have gone to local businesses to collect prizes and have been overwhelmed with the response.
“The local pub, the Wall Heath Tavern, has also donated £163 to the cause, after having a collection bucket on the bar. It really touched me that people have bothered to get involved and shown community spirit.”
