A 51-YEAR-OLD cyclist died after colliding with a lamp-post at Enville, near Stourbridge, at the weekend.
Christopher Storer, from Smalley, Derbyshire, was taken to Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, with serious injuries after the crash which happened at around 3.30pm on Saturday March 15 on the A458 Bridgnorth Road, near the junction with Blundies Lane.
But he died a short time later.
The road was closed until around 7.20pm while specialist officers carried out an investigation at the scene.
Witnesses are now being asked to contact PC Andy Hogan at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 489 of March 14.
