KIND-hearted members from Kingswinford and Stourbridge Lions Club will be out in force next Thursday and Friday trying to persuade Tesco shoppers in Cradley Heath to support Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The Lions will be busy collecting for Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal with fundraising collections on March 27 and 28.
Organisers insist every penny collected will be spent in local communities helping to provide free nursing care to terminally ill patients in their own homes as well as Marie Curie hospices.
Lions club president Clive Ankers claimed: "We can fund one hour of free nursing care for someone in the local area by raising just £20.
"Giving a small donation and wearing the iconic Marie Curie daffodil pin really can make a big difference."
