ADAM Greathead has been elected as vice-chairman of Wollaston Gardeners Guild - making him their youngest ever officer at the age of 24.
He has also taken over the role of secretary for the West Midlands District of the National Veg Society.
Adam is currently writing a series of articles for the society's magazine under the title of 'Growing Pains'.
He has also taken on a number of allotments and has invited Wollaston Gardeners Guild to visit them in an effort to raise money for Diabetes UK, having been insulin injection dependent himself since the age of seven.
