RECORD attendance levels at Stourbridge Historical Society talks has prompted the group to upgrade its meeting venue.
Roy Peacock’s talk in February on the Origins of Stourbridge attracted 120 members and visitors – packing out the Amblecote Room at Stourbridge Town Hall.
The group is continuing to hold its monthly meetings at the town hall but in the larger Wollaston Room to help accommodate extra history fans.
The society’s next event, taking place on Thursday May 15 at 7.30pm, will see Keith Cattell talking about Victorian architectural heritage.
