Visitors to Mary Stevens Hospice's latest fundraising event can treat themselves to coffee, cake and take part in an Easter egg hunt.

The hospice will open the doors of its day therapies clinic next Saturday (April 5) for a coffee morning from 10am to 1pm.

The event will give people the opportunity to view the homely surroundings while enjoying a cuppa and a slice of homemade cake.

There will also be the chance to win an Easter hamper in the raffle and youngsters can also take part in the egg hunt around the hospice's grounds.

Nursing staff will be on hand to chat and answer questions about the care provided by the hospice and will be offering taster sessions of complimentary therapies for a small donation.

Vanessa Wale, community fundraiser, said: “A warm welcome is extended to all those who wish to join us. It really is a relaxing morning with plenty for all the family to enjoy."
