WORDSLEY-born musician Nigel Passey will be returning to his Black Country roots with his band for a gig at Katie Fitzgerald’s in Wollaston this weekend.
The Nigel Passey Band will playing in the cellar bar at the Enville Street venue on Sunday April 6.
Nigel, brother of Stourbridge singer and vocal coach Chris Passey, said: “I have lived in Leeds for the last six years and we haven't been to the Midlands for nearly two years so we are planning on having a big one.”
The band, who are signed to London record label The Animal Farm and have released an EP called Something Beautiful, reached number five in the Danish iTunes chart late last year and they are currently on a mini UK tour which also includes a performance at the L2G festival taking place at Alder Coppice, Sedgley, on Saturday April 5.
Tickets for the gig at Katie's are available on the door. To find out more check out www.nigelpasseyband.com or www.katiefitzgeralds.co.uk
