PRAISEWORTHY young people from the Prince's Trust have been sprucing up the entrance to Saltwells Nature Reserve at Netherton.
The youngsters have helped install a new kissing gate and fencing while painting the bridge and improving the pathways.
They raised the cash needed to fund the project themselves by sitting a bath of baked beans at the ASDA superstore in Brierley Hill and also organised a sponsored leg wax and car wash.
All the youngsters involved are taking part on the Prince's Trust Team programme which gives unemployed youngsters from 16 to 25 the chance to learn new skills and improve their confidence and self-esteem through a range of outdoor activities, community work plus work experience.
As part of the programme - the youngsters take part in an action packed residential week, organising fundraising activities, carrying out voluntary work within the community and they also benefit from two week's work experience with a local employer.
