First published in News

PROMOTION chasing Stourbridge Rugby Club will put their title ambitions on hold early next month to stage their prestigious May Lunch.

Regarded as one of the club's showpiece events of the year, the lunch takes place on Friday May 9 at Stourton Park and always proves a big hit on the corporate calendar.

Former British and Irish Lions player Lee Mears will be one of the principal speakers along with his ex-Bath team mate David Flatman, who is now their club's head of communications.

Another former international star at both Rugby Union and League John Bentley will officiate as Master of Ceremonies.

The event is aimed at local companies, with tables still available for this year's extravaganza.

Details can be obtained from the club by calling 01384 395000.
