Scouts to hold St George's parade

STOURBRIDGE District Scouts and Guides will be holding a St George's Parade on Sunday (April 27).

They will be parading to their annual church service at St Thomas' Church, Stourbridge, at 3pm.

For the parade to take place High Street, Market Street, Talbot Street, Drury Lane and Bell Street will be closed between 12 noon and 5pm.

Guests will include the Deputy Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Margaret Aston.

The scout group will parade back along Market Street and High Street after the service, with the salute being taken by cllr Aston by the town clock.
