MORE than 300 members of Stourbridge and District Scouts paraded through the town to mark St George’s Day.

The scouts made their way down Stourbridge High Street and Market Street on Sunday, led by the, 451 (Stourbridge) Squadron, Air Training Corps from Oldswinford.

They arrived at St Thomas' Church for their traditional St George's Day service, attended by the Deputy Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Margaret Aston.

Rev Karen Stanton, rector of Kinver and Enville, gave the address and after the service the scouts paraded back along Market Street and the High Street - with the salute being taken by the cllr Aston and her consort, Councillor Adam Aston by the town clock.
