DUDLEY borough's Dell Stadium is set for a £17,000 facelift.
The Brierley Hill based athletics track will be closed for a fortnight later this month to allow repairs and cleaning to commence.
Relining work will take place on the track while both the long jump and pole vault areas will undergo deep cleaning.
As a result of the work taking place, these areas will close on Thursday May 15 and reopen on Monday June 2.
The rest of the Dudley Council centre will continue to open as usual for all other activities.
