The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between May 6-9:

Candida Margaret Ward, aged 35, of Park Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 18 months for stealing 10 pairs of spectacles, worth £1,000, from Boots Opticians, Halesowen, on January 25, while subject to a suspended sentence. She was ordered to pay compensation of £200 and a victim surcharge of £80.

David Wilkes, aged 25, of Charlton Street, Dudley, was fined £220 for driving while unfit through drink, without a licence or insurance, in Dudley on February 24. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Donna Louise Selvy, aged 27, of Beeches Close, Kingswinford, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £280, from Asda, Halesowen, on April 2. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Rebecca Jones, aged 33, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months for stealing meat, worth £45.54, from Aldi, Dudley, on March 26 and stealing items, worth £48.93, from Co-op, Dudley, on April 3. She was ordered to pay compensation of £48.93, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

David Ray Perrins, aged 26, of Watery Lane, Wordsley, was given a 12 month community order for driving while disqualified and without insurance in Brierley Hill on March 27. He was given six penalty points, must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge at £60 and £85 court costs.

Angela Lynne Edwards, aged 52, of Abbotsford Drive, Dudley, was given a nine month community order for stealing alcohol and food, worth £60.50, from Marks and Spencer, Birmingham, on January 5. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Chad Boyer Foley, aged 37, of Carlton Avenue, Wollescote, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items worth £65.98, from Tesco, Stourbridge, on April 20. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Thomas William Hussey, aged 31, of Belbroughton Road, Clent, was fined £500 for drink driving, without insurance, in Stourbridge on April 19. When tested he had 84mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Clava Lee Myrie, aged 28, of Mossvale, Old Hill, was fined £165 for drink driving in Halesowen on April 20. When tested he had 65mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

James Lee Power, aged 26, of Badsey Road, Oldbury, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, for stealing meat, worth £76, from Sainsbury’s, Warley, on April 10, stealing DVDs, worth £160.97, from Asda, Warley, on April 25 and stealing two bottles of perfume, worth £161, from Debenhams, Brierley Hill, on May 6.

Sarah Jeavons, aged 38, of Clee Hill Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items worth £57.66, from Spar, Lower Gornal, between March 4 and 22. She was ordered to pay compensation of £35, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Jason Craig Owen, aged 18, of Tennyson Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 13 weeks, suspended for 12 months for assaulting a man in Brierley Hill on December 3 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on April 22. He was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must stay at his home address between 6pm and 6am on Fridays and Saturdays. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £80 and £300 court costs.

Brett Andrew Parfitt, aged 24, of Purley Wharf, Netherton, was sent to prison for 22 weeks assault and damaging a car in Dudley on December 13, while subject to a community order. The offences were racially aggravated.

Ian James Rollinson, aged 21, of High Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months for stealing cosmetics, worth £547, from Debenhams, Brierley Hill, on April 2. He was also sentenced for assaulting a man and possessing cannabis in Brierley Hill on April 8. He was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 6pm and 6am on Fridays and Saturdays. He was ordered to pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

John Liam Southall, aged 19, of Swan Lane, Wordsley, was fined £300, for driving without a licence or insurance and failing to stop after an accident in Brierley Hill on April 23. He was given six penalty points and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Kurt Brookes, aged 20, of Sedgley Hall Avenue, Sedgley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing Bank of England coins, CDs, a CD/radio player, a pair of Leatherman pliers and attempting to steal items from the back of a car, in Sedgley, on March 15. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was also ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £671, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Glen Coley, aged 51, of Ashfield Crescent, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for stealing £80 from a couple in Stourbridge between December 1, 2013 and March 24, 2014. He was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £40 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Linda Coley, aged 48, of Ashfield Crescent, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for dishonestly undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of £80 cash, knowing or believing it to be stolen. She was ordered to carry our 40 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £40 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Thomas William Ball, aged 25, of Bourne Street, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a camera unit, worth £264, in Dudley, on March 31 and causing £155.69 worth of damage to a glass panel of a communal door, in Dudley on March 30. He was ordered to pay compensation of £419.69, a victim surcharge of £15 and £45 court costs.

Stuart Round, aged 24, of Severn Road, Colley Gate, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for stealing tins of salmon, from Sainsbury’s and Spar, Lower Gornal, on April 4 and toiletries and cat food, worth £120, from Falcon Service Station, Stourbridge, on April 6.
