The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between May 19 and 23:

Patrick Cain McCarthy, aged 20, of Belle Isle, Brierley Hill, was fined £80 for causing £50 of damage to a Ford Escort van in Brierley Hill on April 19. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Louise Kathleen Wilding, aged 38, of John Corbett Drive, Amblecote, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving, without insurance, in Stourbridge on April 19. When tested she had 68mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. The car she was driving was taken without the consent of the owner and was involved in an accident that caused damage to Pargeters Furniture shop, Stourbridge. She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work. She was also given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 8pm and 7am and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Shaun Phillip Mitton, aged 31, of Halesowen Road, Netherton, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing air fresheners, worth £40, from Wilkinsons, Stourbridge, on March 14 and coffee, worth £26.42, from One Stop, Stourbridge, on March 17. He was also sentenced for assaulting a woman in Stourbridge on April 25. He was ordered to pay compensation of £126.42 and a victim surcharge of £80.

Jason Richard Sidaway, aged 45, of Lynsey Place, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for stealing goods, worth £40.50, from Sainsbury’s, Stourbridge, on April 5, meat and cheese, worth £72.93, from Sainsbury’s, Brierley Hill, on April 14 and two Gilette razors, worth £48, from Boots, Brierley Hill on April 29 . He was ordered to pay compensation of £40.50, a victim surcharge of £60 and £50 court costs.

Aldona Swiderek, aged 29, of Wells Road, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for stealing items, worth £495.50, from Marks & Spencer, Merry Hill, on May 18, while subject to a suspended sentence.

William Junior Gamble, aged 25, of Chalmar Drive, Pensnett, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for entering a garden shed in Brierley Hill as trespasser, with intent to steal on March 20.

Ashley Leon Reece, aged 39, of The Belper, Russells Hall, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a woman and destroying property to the value of £500, in Dudley on May 5. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Rana Sheikh Amir, aged 44, of Winford Avenue, Kingswinford, was fined £110 for drink driving in Dudley on December 23. When tested, he had 67mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £300 court costs.

Michael John Flavell, aged 35, of Lawn Avenue, Stourbridge, was fined £220 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on May 3. When tested he had 65mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance and was disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Alice Piggott, aged 27, of Nimmings Road, Halesowen, was fined £535 for drink driving in Halesowen on March 28. When tested she had 131mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mgs. She was also sentenced for driving without a licence and was disqualified from driving for 15 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £85 court costs.

Philip Anthony Guest, aged 29, of Whitethorn Road, Wordsley, was sent to prison for 22 weeks for drink driving in Brierley Hill on May 5. When tested he had 78mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance, whilst disqualified and subject to a community order. Guest was also disqualified from driving for six years.

Justin Gary Tytler, aged 40, of Arlington Court, Stourbridge, was fined £175 for being drunk and disorderly on a train in Birmingham on March 22. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Elliott Roy Alwyn Manley, aged 23, of High Park Close, Sedgley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £100 worth of damage to a window and possessing cocaine in Dudley on May 5. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Christopher Jack O’Dwyer, aged 19, of Broome Road, Wrens Nest, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months for assaulting a woman in Coseley on April 12. He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Darren Edwards aged 35, of Kilburn Place, Netherton, was fined £50 for driving without a licence in Halesowen on December 10. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £150 court costs.

John Edward Smith, aged 51, of Church Street, Stourbridge, was fined £300 for drink driving, without a licence, in Brierley Hill on May 9. When tested he had 65mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Robert Stokes, aged 60, of Enville Road, Wall Heath, was discharged conditionally for three months for stealing a folder containing personal information, from Dudley Council on March 26 in Wall Heath. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15.
