Spitfire to star in borough Armed Frorces Day event
AN RAF Spitfire will be the star attraction during this year’s Armed Forces Day event at Himley Hall and Park.
Weather permitting, the historic aircraft, from the of Britain Memorial Flight, will be in the skies over the park at around 2pm on Sunday June 29.
The day of events will start at 11am and include a display of historic vehicles, children’s entertainment, military displays, performances by the Staffordshire Military Wives Choir and the D Day Darlings, a HM Armed Forces Veterans Badge presentation to Dudley war veterans.
